Hello! My name is Elisa Perez Stroud. I am a wig technician and licensed cosmetologist, and am currently an MFA candidate at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. 

I have my BFA from George Mason University where I studied Costume Design & Technology. After graduation I freelanced as a designer, stylist, and wardrobe technician, and later as a wig technician and stylist.  

Most of my experience is grounded in wigs for professional theatre. I have experience in regional, community, and educational theatre in all parts of the wig design, building, and show running process. 

I am currently a part time stylist at a local hair salon and occasionally work as a Hair and Makeup Local for the Steven Tanger Center in Greensboro.
